Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Salary Range: Basic SAR 18,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Joining Time: Must be available to join within 30 days

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong mechanical engineering background, specializing in pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of overseeing mechanical construction projects, including pipeline installations. The position requires someone who can join within 30 days and manage all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities on mechanical and pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise all construction operations, including resource allocation, equipment management, and labor force coordination.
  • Lead and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of pipelines, mechanical systems, and related equipment.
  • Develop and implement detailed construction plans and schedules, in collaboration with the project team.
  • Ensure that all mechanical and pipeline construction works are compliant with industry standards, client specifications, and local regulations.
  • Monitor and review the performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks, quality issues, and safety concerns.
  • Report regularly on construction progress, including project status, risks, delays, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues, ensure design compatibility, and implement changes or adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure that proper safety measures are in place, and that safety standards and regulations are strictly adhered to on site.
  • Review and approve construction-related documents, such as work procedures, drawings, and materials specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth communication and successful project execution.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the construction team, ensuring professional development and effective teamwork.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for the construction processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on mechanical and pipeline construction.
    • Extensive experience in pipeline construction and managing mechanical installations and related infrastructure projects.
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, from initial planning through to completion.
    • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for pipeline and mechanical construction.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
    • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and pipeline construction techniques.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with project stakeholders.
    • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges quickly and efficiently.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
