Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for implementing the financial strategy and functional model as set out by the Finance Manager. This role involves managing financial projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the organization, and driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations. The Project Manager will also liaise with various departments to ensure cohesive financial planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy Implementation: Execute financial strategies and models defined by the Finance Manager to achieve organizational goals.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee financial projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, financial status, and any issues encountered.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional qualification in finance preferred (e.g., CMA, ACCA)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial position within recognized firms
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in financial strategy implementation
Skills:
- Proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Mastery of written and spoken English and Arabic
