Position: Project Engineer - Civil
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years
Industry: Residential & Commercial Building, Preferably SABIC Experience
Location: Saudi Arabia
Salary: SAR 7,000 - 8,000 SAR (Basic) per month

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of projects.
- Site Management:
- Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices and industry standards in all construction activities.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain project standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and inspection records.
- Communicate project status, issues, and changes to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within the allocated budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control project costs.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
- Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure that all parties meet their obligations and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 7 years in project engineering within residential and commercial building projects, with a preference for experience in SABIC projects.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to local working conditions.
