Job Description:

Title: Analyst, Contract Management

 

Experience: 5 years of work experience as a Contract Management.

  • Experience working in construction sites or engineering projects.
  • Project Management experience is a desirable qualification.

 

Working: 48 hours per week

Salary: Basic- SR- 6000 to 7000, TA- 10%, Housing Allowance: 16.66% of Basic Salary.

Duration: Long Term

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Educational Qualification:  

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Project Management/Engineering

 

Job Requirements:

  • Coordinate and support the project engineers for overall contract administration focusing on compliance to procedures/ contracts document and best practices for  implementation.
  • Ensure that PMT complies with the approved contracting strategy agreed in the project execution & contracting strategy deliverables.
  • Administer, analyze all change orders and claims reported by Project Managers and report to Leader, Execution Contractor Management..
  • Support Project Engineers in reviewing/commenting on the contractual requirements including commercial T&Cs received from bidders/ licensors.
  • Responsible for administering all contracts in an effective and efficient manner per the needs of the projects.
  • Ensure that all aspects of a contract are monitored or managed to protect the interests of SABIC.
  • Responsible for analyzing, preparing internal reports, archive claims dossier for all claims received from Project Engineers and also ensure compliance to E&PM and Procurement Section approved claims management procedures.
  • Support in negotiating terms and conditions after reviewing contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risk
  • Company-wide business alignment (Procurement, Security, Finance, and SABIC affiliates)
  • Responsible for assessing the contractual risks, providing mitigation measures for each project and escalating them to the leader to include them in the project Risk Management report.
  • Assess contractor service value and performance; research and evaluate potential contractors and vendors relative to cost and capabilities, develop and coordinate acquisition alternatives as appropriate
  • May assist and/or provide input into the formulation, development, and/or revision of operating policies, procedures, best practices and strategies for the organization, as appropriate.
  • Initiates and/or conducts meetings with contractors concerning contractual problems as requested by Sr.Mgr

 

Specific Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of industry principles and practices in Construction Contract Management
  • Excellent Knowledge on Business Application and Software (MS Office, MS Project SAP etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of document processing software, Solid communication and project management skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking), Interpersonal skills, Presentation Skills.
  • Business driven, Planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents, financial reports and technical documents
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
