As a Control Room Senior Technician at NPC Al-Lith in Saudi Arabia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the synchronized production operations of the feed mill. You will be responsible for operating machinery from the control room, managing a working team, and ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials for uninterrupted production. Your role involves adherence to ISO/HACCP rules, maintaining equipment functionality, and contributing to the overall productivity of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery from the control room, ensuring synchronized production
• Manage and lead the production team, coordinating daily deliveries, and maintaining bulk raw material inventory.
• Record daily production metrics, verify formulae accuracy, and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Coordinate with transport, purchase departments, and suppliers for timely raw material deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/HACCP standards and maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Implement FIFO system for material release and regulate material flow to match equipment capacity.
• Collaborate with pellet mill operators for optimal material flow and machinery utilization.
• Quantify raw material consumption and feed flow for data entry in the BAAN system.
• Maintain control room temperature for optimal equipment performance.
• Follow safety protocols, promptly address process breakdowns, and attend to any assigned tasks.

Knowledge and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of feed process technology and practical application in production.
• Basic understanding of raw materials and feed formulae.
• Familiarity with computers, software applications, and circuit boards used in manufacturing.

Basic mathematical skills.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Arabic language.

Experience and Training:

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Control Room Operator.
• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, with specialized training in electrical engineering.
• Certification in Electrical or Electronics from a recognized program.

Working Conditions:

• Plant environment, involving the use of tools, instruments, and other equipment.
• Conditions may require working under stress for prolonged periods.

Supervision:

• Receive general direction from the superior as per the NPC organizational chart.
