Position Summary:

As the Cranes In Charge, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our company's fleet, including Tower Cranes, Mobile Cranes, and Construction Lifts. Your responsibilities will encompass mobilization and erection, preventive maintenance, regular service, operator training and management, and breakdown avoidance. Our diverse fleet includes a 30-ton Sany Mobile Crane, 8-ton capacity Yongmao Tower Cranes (Flat Top and Top Kit), Truck Mounted Cranes, and multiple Construction Hoists. Reporting directly to our Plant and Equipment Manager, this role demands a technical qualification specific to cranes, a minimum of 10 years hands-on experience, and excellent individual technical capability.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Technical Qualification: You must have a technical qualification related to cranes.
  • Hands-On Experience: A minimum of 10 yearsof hands-on experience is mandatory, showcasing a robust and extensive background in crane operations and maintenance.
  • Technical Capability:Exceptional individual hands-on technical capability is a mandatory criterion, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in handling diverse crane-related tasks

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • In-depth understanding of crane mechanics, covering various types such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, and construction lifts.
  • Installation, repair, and inspection of cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Regular maintenance, including greasing bearings and part replacements.
  • Conducting engineering calculations, surveying work sites, and designing crane supports for new installations.
  • Record keeping of work performed, service history, workplace safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Operation of cranes and lifting equipment for material movement.
  • Inspection of crane components for signs of wear or damage.
  • Attachment of lifting devices according to specifications.
  • Maintenance of logs for crane use and inspection dates in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in crane operations and maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve complex issues with machinery.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in working with complex machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Leadership Ability: Overseeing operators and mechanics, demonstrating leadership in challenging environments and schedules
