  As a Country Sales Manager for Food Industry specially for Rice business, your role is to driving sales growth and expanding market presence in international markets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and meet financial targets for the category. Your job description may include the following responsibilities: 

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives and international sales targets.
  2. Identify and explore new market opportunities, assess market trends, and competitor activities to formulate effective marketing strategies.
  3. Find profitable product lines for the organization, focusing on emerging trends majorly in Basmati Rice.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, agents, and key accounts to expand the company's global distribution network.
  5. Manage and coordinate with the team at HO, Delhi on a regular basis with a proper reporting structure.
  6. Conduct market research, customer surveys, and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
  7. Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and advertising, to promote the company's products and generate leads.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitors' activities to identify areas for improvement and develop effective sales strategies.
  10. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in international sales and marketing.
  11. Represent the company at international trade exhibitions, conferences, and events to showcase our products and services and establish valuable connections with potential international clients. This includes planning and coordinating all aspects of participation, such as booth set-up, product demonstrations, and attending networking events.
  12. Reporting to Chairman/ Director-Sales & Marketing.
