Area Sales Manager
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Delivers booking targets & growth strategies and manages bookings forecasting for
assigned territories reporting into Regional Sales Manager.
Secure all open opportunities utilizing our selling processes.
Working with channel partners to identify current or underserved accounts and develop
selling strategies to optimize customer penetration including direct interaction with end
users.
Responsible for providing technical consulting and commercial end users and channel
partners.
Provides input on customer solutions & services offerings related to enhancing reliability
and operational effectiveness for products.
Develops detailed plans to deliver bookings & growth for territory within region in
alignment with strategic plan.
Works with internal organization to ensure that channel partners have the skills &
knowledge needed to sell our products and services effectively.
Stay informed on industry technology trends and standards.
Works closely with RSMs, ASMs and facilities to understand customer requirements and
ensure provision of value-add solutions.
Provides technical descriptions and content for proposals.
Booking, forecasting & reporting and pipeline management.
Key account relationship management.
Responsible for safety, ethics and other legal compliance requirements in alignment with
Sundyne policy.
Sell a full range of Sundyne pump and compressor products, supplies and services;
requires technical and consultative-selling skills.
Develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and
other sources for sales leads in our CRM system.
Works with product line managers and internal services organizations to ensure that
channel/customers have the skills/knowledge needed to sell our services effectively.
