Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist to execute maintenance program through repairs of all electrical equipment machines and other components in accordance with the standard

• Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical equipment. Identification of operational engineering and mechanical constraints and providing strategies to optimize equipment while managing constraints.

• Maintain, repair and perform evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical apparatus, motors, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment per electrical codes and standards as instructed by leadership

• Ensure Proper maintenance and care of all PLC’s and other automation controllers and systems

• Work with a group of Mechanical and Electrical technicians, installers and General Maintenance assistants to maintain all process equipment

• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, and repairs are done completely, addressing the root cause of the failure

• All at all-time use proper safety gear appropriate for the work being carried out at all times

• Ensure at all-time full compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety SOP’s 

• To run and tune the only required processing equipment for the specific product being processed

• Responsible for continuous improvement of equipment related maintenance standards

• Keeps full and up to date records of all equipment to ensure traceability.
