Key function

  • Identification and preparation of contractual claims on timely basis

 

Key Roles Responsibilities

  • The Projects Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for managing and delivering the contract administration services.
  • Developing the contracts administration department work plan.
  • Main point of contact between Advent and project management team in all sites.
  • Responsible for submission of Advent deliverables on time and in accordance with Advent Quality standards.
  • Ensuring that each contract runs to its highest quality standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he/she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.
  • Maintaining consistent and adequate procedures on current and active projects by analysing information and produce overall reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly project expenditure to the MD.
  • Working closely with the ‘Project team’ to ensure that the contracts’ administration programmes and reporting is feasible, complies with the clients contractual obligations.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines and the Clients’ representative
  • Demonstrate an understanding of overall project requirements and the ability to advise management knowledgably on overall project costs.


Requirements

  • Degree Qualified
  • Knowledge of FIDIC, PPRA and NCC contracts is critical.
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
  • 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in the construction industry
  • Ability to relate and interact successfully with a cross-cultural workforce at all levels is essential
  • Must have outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and be capable of representing the company on commercial issues with the client.
  • High degree of accuracy required
  • Must be able to work both independently with a proactive approach and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Should be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
