Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management and customer services.

• Follow up on the supplies of raw materials and make sure that there are no deficiencies that hinder the production plan.

• Keep stock control system up to date with bin card and make sure inventories are accurate.

• Conduct periodic and random audits of stock levels at warehouses to ensure high level of stock accuracy. Produce reports and statistics regularly i.e., MOQ, on hand stock, on order stock, consumption trends; aged inventory control & provisions reduction. IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.

• Monthly comprehensive stock taking exercise should be organized properly to ensure stock accuracy.

• Logistics planning for key / large customer’s / order deliveries; daily check with transporters and following delivery, daily checking of pending orders and old orders review.

• Raising GRN (Goods Receive Note) of the goods received timely to expedite the payment process.

• Ensuring vendor management especially for transporters with high service level and efficient cost management, all the documentation related to the transporter’s details should be monitored and kept updated with out fail.

• Manage day to day operations of warehouse and take accountability of delivering the finished goods to customers daily to achieve the targets.

• Organize the GIT insurance for all the IN and OUT deliveries, liaise with procurement department as well for the same.

• Supervise and coordinate efficient unloading and orderly stacking of raw material, picking and storing of finished goods. Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment

• Maintain a clean; neat, and orderly work area; ensure all security policies and procedures are followed as per ISO 9001:2015. Ensure associates follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Allocate and manage staff resources according to the requirement, supervise, coach and train the team; meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness.

• Ensure the proper storage of the RAW materials and Chemicals as per the SON guidelines.
