Job Description

MUST HAVE SKILLS
? A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Plastics or equivalent.
? 8+ years of experience in Quality Control department in flexible packaging industries.
? Understanding of ISO. BRC, HACCAP / SEDEX / GMP principles and documentation.
? Understanding of Quality Control and continuous improvement processes.
? Effective problem solving and communication skills.
? Knowledge about raw material eg Polyester Films / BOPP Films / Barrier Films / Inks / Solvents /
Adhesives / Plastic Resins etc.
? Excellent organization skills.
? Excellent colour accuracy and good vision (corrected if necessary).
? Essential PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Exposure to SAP / ERP systems would be an
added advantage.
? Excellent decision-making skills.
? Expert in Printing/Lamination and Blown film checking and control procedure
? Good knowledge about operating and use of all Quality Control Testing Equipment.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

? Serve as MR to the company. Submit detail report of all internal audit and NC resolution for
management review
? Training on all documented processes, forms and work instructions for all company employees,
including refresher training and specified intervals for certification requirements.
? Daily inspections of production area and online process checks, Including printing press / lamination /
slitting / pouching defect system.
? Perform Quality Control checks, including job approvals, in-process checks, testing procedures (bond
testing, colour matching, dyne, etc.).
? Supervise Quality Department staff and Provide all required trainings with Records,
? Oversee creation and revision of quality documentation.
? Oversee handling of customer complaints.
? Oversee Food Safety Program and any other certification revisions, management and maintenance.
? Internal auditing of policies and procedure related to production and Certification.
? Oversee inspection of all inbound raw and outsourced material.
? Contacting customers and suppliers for non-conformances.
? Oversee of QC hold log and hold area.
? Performs reviews and evaluations for all QA/QC personnel.
? Oversee the initiation and verification of the CAPA/SCAR system.
? Complete all tracking and reporting for management.
? Ensure there is QC inspection coverage 100% of the time production is running.
? Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times. 
Escalate any issues/concerns to management.
