Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in analysing complex data sets, developing cutting-edge machine
learning models, and implementing advanced analytics solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:
• Utilize your expertise in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning to develop  innovative solutions and predictive models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into  data science projects.
• Collect, clean, and pre-process large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Utilize Python, Pyspark, SQL and Databricks to design and implement scalable data processing pipelines.
• Work with MLOps tools and frameworks to deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production environments.
• Implement model tracking, versioning, and experimentation using MLFlow to enhance reproducibility and model governance.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data engineers to ensure smooth integration of data science solutions.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of data science, machine learning, and deep learning, and apply them to enhance model performance and accuracy.

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in some of the following statistical techniques: Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Markov Chains, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Factor analysis etc.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Pyspark and working knowledge of Databricks for distributed data processing and scalable machine learning.
• Familiarity with deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and techniques.
• Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks for model deployment and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex and unstructured data sets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
