Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated SAP Master Data Management Team Member to join our pharmaceutical company based in Hyderabad. As a member of our Master Data Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient management of master data within the SAP system. Responsibilities:
1.     Master Data Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain master data records in the SAP system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
2.    Data Governance: Implement and adhere to data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality.
3.    Data Quality Management: Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance data accuracy and completeness.
4.   Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize master data management processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient and streamlined procedures.
5.   Data Validation: Perform regular data validations and audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of master data records, taking corrective actions when necessary.
6.    Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to master data management processes, policies, and procedures. Generate reports and present data insights to relevant stakeholders as needed.
7.      System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration of SAP master data with other enterprise systems and applications.
8.    Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on master data management processes, ensuring their understanding and compliance with established guidelines.
9.   Compliance and Audit: Assist in internal and external audits related to master data management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
•   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
•   Previous exp (2+ years) working with SAP master data management modules (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP MM).
•   Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, FDA regulations).
•    Proficiency in data analysis, data cleansing, and data quality management techniques.
•   Excellent knowledge of SAP master data objects and their relationships within the SAP system.
•   Familiarity with data governance principles, data management frameworks, and best practices.
•   Experience with data migration and integration projects involving SAP or other ERP systems.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
•   Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
•   Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
•   SAP certification in master data management modules (e.g., SAP MDG) is a plus.
