Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable English Trainer to join our team and provide specialized training to professionals in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement specialized English language training programs for aviation professionals, including pilots, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, and ground staff.
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, incorporating relevant aviation-specific content, vocabulary, and scenarios.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate participants' language proficiency levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and administer language proficiency tests to monitor progress and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide individualized coaching and feedback to participants, addressing specific language deficiencies and promoting effective communication skills.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in aviation terminology, regulations, and communication protocols to ensure training materials remain current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to develop supplementary training materials, resources, and exercises.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and evaluations of training programs, making necessary adjustments and enhancements to optimize effectiveness.
  • Keep accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and performance.
  • Liaise with aviation organizations, airlines, and training centers to understand their specific training requirements and customize programs accordingly.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field. A higher degree or certification in Aviation English would be a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience as an English Trainer, preferably with expertise in aviation-specific language training.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation terminology, phraseology, and communication procedures.
  • Familiarity with international aviation regulations and standards, such as ICAO language proficiency requirements.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions to large and small groups.
