Job Description:

Position :Instrumentation Engineer

Location :Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia

Experience requirement :  3+ years   

Joining Date : Immediately to 30 days

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University or Equivalent professional qualification.

 

  • 4 - 6 years experience in design of Instrumentation and control system.
  • Conversant with International Design Codes of Practice, including American, British Standards and Saudi Aramco standards and SABIC standards.
  • Hands on experience in instrumentation & Control design for oil and gas, and refinery facilities.
  • Knowledge in Hazardous Area Classification and implementation in the design
  • Knowledge on Process Control and safety systems - DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, Emergency Shutdown System, Wellhead shutdown system, Vibration Monitoring system, Gas Detection system, Fire Alarm system and design deliverables development. Hands on experience on the system design is preferable.
  • Conversant with Sizing of flow elements, control valves, relief valves and flow meters.
  • Experience in design of cable ladder/ tray systems, earthing and MCC/Switchgear control interfaces.
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Saudi Aramco Projects experience (preferable)

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for design, coordination, and execution of Instrumentation & control activities on the project.
  • Prepare material takeoff to support project estimation.
  • Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, project manager and Other Discipline Engineers.
  • Prepare, Review and approval of material submittal and shop/fabrication drawings.
  • Prepare, review and checking job specifications and data sheets in accordance with project standards requirements and contractual requirements for purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare, Review and checking Instrumentation calculations.
  • Design of facilities as per project specification, Contract scope, applicable codes and standards.
  • Develop design drawings, documents, and study reports.
  • Technical bid evaluation and recommend technically compliant offers for PO procurement
  • Vendor document review and implement vendor data in design package
  • Review design deliverables and participate design review meetings with client.
  • Perform discipline check on the deliverables developed to ensure quality.
  • Coordinate with design team to carryout design activities
  • Coordinate with site team, provide technical support and clarification to resolve queries during construction.
  • Technical evaluation of design packages, verify and develop Bill of quantities
