Role: Cost Accountant
Location: Oxford, North Carolina

Must Have:
*need someone that has actually applied cost to the products being produced
*Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*2+ years of accounting in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing is the key filter. Service, retail, or public accounting experience alone doesn’t qualify

Nice to Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)
ERP experience (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.)
Standard costing and variance analysis experience
Physical inventory and cycle count experience
SQL, Power BI, or Access experience (nice-to-have)
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure (nice-to-have)
