ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for experienced Project Engineers to join a Global Delivery Center supporting major construction and infrastructure projects in the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for construction professionals to develop deep expertise in U.S. construction practices, project engineering, construction coordination, and VDC strategy, while working closely with U.S.-based project teams.

This role goes beyond traditional CAD/Revit modelling. You will be involved in project engineering, technical coordination, construction documentation, submittals, change orders, estimation, quality control, and project administration, contributing directly to real-world construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in project management activities, change orders, submittals, and other project engineering tasks.
• Coordinate regularly with U.S.-based project managers and project teams.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Support technical coordination and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work on 2D overlays, submittals, change orders, estimation, and project documentation.
• Assist project managers with initial project estimating, including required hours and resources.
• Coordinate effectively between India-based and U.S.-based teams.
• Maintain project quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Support training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members and trade partners.
• Manage project documents and maintain accurate project records.
• Develop a strong understanding of construction practices and project execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project engineering and VDC processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of construction/project engineering experience.
• Experience with construction, engineering, EPC, infrastructure, or general contracting organizations preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with submittals, change orders, and project administration.
• Understanding of construction coordination and documentation.
• Experience in estimation and/or quantity takeoffs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience working on U.S. construction projects.
• Experience coordinating with U.S.-based project teams.
• VDC/BIM experience.
• Bluebeam experience.
• On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimation software.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.

IMPORTANT

This is not a traditional CAD/Revit modelling position.

Candidates should have experience beyond production modelling, particularly in:
