Job Description:

Job Title: SCADA / Automation Engineer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia (Project Location: Eastern Region)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SCADA / Automation Engineer to design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for infrastructure and utility projects. The role involves system integration, compliance with Saudi standards, and ensuring secure, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Zenon COPA-DATA SCADA systems for industrial applications.
  • Integrate SCADA with IWOS platforms and Four-Faith sensor networks.
  • Deploy and manage fault notification protocols using IEC-104 communication standards.
  • Ensure system compliance with SAMSS-513 (Saudi Aramco standards).
  • Set up secure, redundant SCADA servers and network architectures.
  • Implement firewalls and cybersecurity measures in line with SACS standards and SAEP-99.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot SCADA/automation issues.
  • Coordinate with field teams for commissioning and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in SCADA/Automation engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Zenon (COPA-DATA) SCADA systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (IEC-104, Modbus, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco engineering standards (SAMSS, SACS, SAEP).
  • Experience in sensor integration (preferably LoRa-based systems).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in industrial control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Open to candidates from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
