Location: North Carolina (HVAC Temperature-Controlled)
Shift: 1st Shift (Available for emergencies/OT)
Role Summary
The Facilities Manager leads the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and utility systems. You will oversee manufacturing layouts, building upgrades, and facility expansions while ensuring 100% compliance with safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Manage all phases of equipment setup, relocation, and startup.

Maintenance Strategy: Implement a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program via EAM software to reduce downtime.

Compliance & Safety: Supervise facility tasks to meet electrical/building codes; act as an Emergency Responder (First Aid/CPR).

Operations: Manage spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and annual facility service calendars.

Team Management: Conduct performance reviews, safety orientations, and manage team dynamics professionally.
Requirements

Education: BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing (Robotics/Automation experience required).

Technical Skills: Proficient in blueprints (Electrical/Mechanical), MS Project, and local building codes.

Leadership: Strong supervisory skills and experience managing tight project budgets.

Flexibility: Must be able to respond to emergencies and work OT/alternate shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

10+ years in Plastics Manufacturing (Injection Molding machines up to 2000 tons).

Expertise in EAM/CMMS software and advanced MS Office skills.
