Lead Pipeline Commissioning & Operations Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Commissioning leak test execution and documentation
• Flange management services and integrity assurance
• Chemical cleaning of pipeline and associated systems
• Air blowing, system cleaning, and debris removal
• Conducting vacuum leak testing and verification processes
• High-pressure jetting operations
• Pipeline flushing and cleaning activities
• Executing pipeline pigging operations for cleaning & gauging
• Conducting hydrostatic testing as per project standards
• Pipeline purging using nitrogen or inert gases
• Pipeline drying to ensure moisture-free systems
• Nitrogen pumping and nitrogen-related services
• Helium leak testing for sensitive systems
• Pumping services for fluid transfer operations
• Chemical and material handling in line with safety protocols
Key Features of the Role
• Strong understanding of commissioning standards, safety practices, and QA/QC requirements
• Ability to lead field teams and coordinate with project engineers, vendors, and clients
• Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues during commissioning and testing phases
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication capabilities
• Ability to work effectively in remote and cross-country pipeline environments
• Strong adherence to safety and compliance protocols
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline commissioning
• Strong background in cross-country pipeline projects
