Radiologic Technologist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiologic procedures in accordance with exam protocols

• Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure comfort and understanding

• Accurately assess patient readiness and tolerance for procedures

• Maintain proper documentation and imaging records per department policies

• Adhere to all radiation safety, infection control, and sterile procedure guidelines

• Support the department by maintaining equipment, reporting issues, and ensuring clean workspaces

• Provide preceptorship to new team members and support training initiatives

Key Qualifications:

• ARRT-R (Radiography) Certification – Required

• Strong ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care

• Experience working across diverse patient populations (from pediatric to geriatric)

• Calm, professional demeanor even under pressure

• Willingness to take call, if required

• CPR/First Aid competency
