Job Description:
  • Explore and identify tenders, RFQs, and upcoming infrastructure projects in transportation sector.
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities across government and private sectors.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with government departments (e.g., Indian Railways, NHAI, State PWDs), consultants, EPC contractors, and private developers.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with technical, design, and commercial teams to prepare and submit EOIs, RFPs, bids, and tenders.
  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and contractual terms.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Assist in defining short- and long-term strategic business plans for the rail and bridge segment.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, estimation, and project management teams to ensure client needs are met
  •  
  • Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets as per business objectives
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field. Consulting background is a must. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in business development/sales in the infrastructure/rail/bridge sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of tendering process, government procurement systems, and project lifecycle.
  • Strong network within Indian Railways, Metro Rail, NHAI, consultants, and contractors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel across regions for business development activities
