- Lead Forest Clearance (FC) process under Forest Conservation Act, 1980
- Prepare/review diversion proposals and associated documentation

Stakeholder Liaison

- Coordinate with State Forest Departments, MoEFCC, and other agencies
- Represent project in regulatory meetings

Field Investigations & Mapping

- Supervise tree enumeration, joint inspections
- Oversee GIS/RS-based mapping of forest areas

Impact Assessment & Mitigation

- Evaluate ecological impacts
- Recommend and monitor mitigation measures

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare FC documentation, technical reports, and afforestation proposals
- Monitor CA progress

Policy & Legal Advisory

- Provide guidance on FCA, WLPA, and other forest laws
- Update teams on regulatory changes

Legal Knowledge

- In-depth knowledge of FCA 1980, WLPA 1972, and forest clearance procedures

- GIS, remote sensing, forest mapping tools
