HVAC Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for performance, efficiency, and safety.

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems.

• Conduct site inspections, system diagnostics, and troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation including design calculations, equipment specifications, and project reports.

• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and quality execution of HVAC-related work.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Recommend energy-efficient solutions and upgrades to existing HVAC systems.

• Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in commercial, industrial, or institutional project

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, controls, and energy efficiency principles.

  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier E20-II) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE,SMACNA, local regulations).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or smart HVAC controls.
  • Familiarity with green building standards such as LEED or Estidama (if regionally relevant).
  • HVAC certification or license is an advantage.
